Klingon orphaned at a young age and joined Starfleet. First Klingon in Starfleet. Played by Michael Dorn.

Born under Klingon parents until their death by the Romulans, Worf was adopted by a Russian couple and raised on Earth and joined Starfleet.  The first Klingon in Starfleet.  Later made part of the crew of the Enterprise.

Klingon Lite. Sad to say, I wish Klingons had just stayed villains in the Star Trek 'verse.

I really loved the early days BEFORE Worf was fleshed out since it reduced the Klingon Lore/nerdiness of TNG. Has many moments though.
