I am employed by the firm that handled public relations for Lunch at the time of its launch, although I myself don't design and execute PR campaigns. Until now, I didn't plan on using this forum for business. In fact, my posts are largely personal. But I started a work-related blog on Oct. 8, 2009, and wrote about it for Lunch. So I can no longer claim to be here just for fun. Mostly, though, that's still the case. I am a writing coach in A&R Edelman's Silicon Valley office, where I create and give classes on critical thinking and writing. I internally support all client teams and give writing workshops at places like Yahoo, Intel and Google. Potential conflict-of-interest disclosures aside, I'd describe myself by my leisure activities: mixed martial arts (kajukenbo) , occasional surfing, spiritual education classes for elementary school children (Baha'i faith), and enjoying meals with my macrobiotic vegetarian husband.
