I have to say, once you really get into it, it is a hard habit to break....yeah, even harder than quitting smoking.

Curious George Goes to the Hospital
Reading and the love of books can't encouraged too soon.  The Curious George books by H.A. and Margaret Rey were great favourites of our kids and Jeanne has delighted in them ever since Elin brought a jumbo book containing six tales back from a trip to New York last fall.  She went looking for our old copies shortly thereafter so ever since Jeanne's been read the old ones--now in  …

Dr. Seuss's Beginner Book Classics/Dr. Seuess's Abc/Green Eggs and Ham/Cat in the Hat/One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish/Fox in Socks (I Can Read It)
Recently I bought this as a gift realising that if I bought these five in bulk it would save about 45% to 50% over buying all these books individually. I was going to give two books to one person, and three to another, but I may well end up buying another set so both can have a complete set.      Before I parted with them I decided to take them out and read them. What amazes …

***1/2 out of ****     Spike Jonze is a whacky guy, with the sort of charm that only a whacky guy can possibly have. Whether the man has made great films or not doesn't matter. What really matters, to me, is whether he can make many. Perhaps he cannot; Jonze has only directed three films, this one included. But each one has been something different; a journey like no other. Love You Forever
This book was a family favorite in my house growing up, although likely for different reasons. What I got from the book was that no matter how messy and troublesome I was I would still be loved, what my mother got out of it was that things could be worse. LOL!

Prospero's Books
Prospero's Books is nothing less than an almost overwhelming feast of images, stuffed with charms, magic and metaphors. It is Peter Greenaway's vision of what The Tempest might have been had Prospero used those 24 books of great knowledge and magic he took with him when he was sent into exile by his brother.      Prospero had been the Duke of Milan when he was overthrown. …

The oh so Neurotic Robert Crumb is always fun but after the fabulous documentary he´s so famous that he can hardly be called underground anymore.

How 'underground'? I've read comics that are too underground that I cannot even say....LOL!
