Pros: It's Hershey's chocolate

Cons: Hurting yourself by eating too much.

Ok, so I didn’t actually buy the 60 oz bag, but considering I just bought two bags that totaled 30 oz right after an 8 and 11 oz bags, I think I’ve come pretty dang close in the last two weeks. Anyway, I might as well just buy a 60 oz bag the way I go through chocolate these days. I swear I eat it like maybe the next day I’ll never be able to eat any again. It’s kind of sad, actually, I mean, I bought it, it’s in my possession, and yet I scarf the stuff down like I need to eat it before everyone else does (and no one is going to).

I think I might have issues. Either that or I seriously do have some kind of chocolate addiction.

Whatever the case, you really can’t go wrong with a handful (or 60 oz bagful) of Hershey Kisses. They bite-sized, chocolatey, and perfect to either just chow on or let one melt down in your mouth for a while. The milk chocolate is really good, and while I go nuts for the Cadbury style, the Kisses version is still really flippin’ delicious. It isn’t as rich, slightly less creamy, but honestly, you will not care. I’ll actually switch over to the Kisses if the Cadbury becomes too much for me.

Hershey Kisses have been around forever. Why? Because they’re awesome. You can get Kisses in different tastes and with different fillings, but I really prefer the original kind (with almonds as a close second). Most of the time I just want straight chocolate, and a bag of Kisses offers more than just one little candy bar. It’s fun to unwrap the foil and see what the little paper flag on the Kiss says. You never know either. I once bought a bag that was on sale. Though the package didn’t say anything specifically, it was as though I’d bought a “Get Well” Hershey Kisses bag because the flags said things like “Ouch” and “You Can Do It” (or something similar, but I distinctly remember the Ouch one). Usually though, the Kisses will just say “Kisses.”

Can you OD on Kisses? Sure. Haha. Eat enough and you’ll get that “Ugh…too much chocolate” feeling. Of course, your mouth might disagree with your stomach (mine often does), so you might keep eating until your stomach finally tells the brain, “Dude, seriously, tell the mouth to stop. There is no more room in here.”

I love Hershey’s Kisses and I’m sad I’ve run out. If I’m not careful, I’ll go through an 8 oz bag in a day – heck, I could easily go through an 11 oz bag in a day, but I tend to stop myself by saying, “If you eat them all now, you won’t have any tomorrow.”

That works. Sometimes.
