He at least appears like a decent person. I've only seen a couple of interviews with him and he definitely shares a lot of the same sentiments as his mother.
Hey--if you like Ken Follett, you'll like this book. It follows his typical plot with his predictable characters... but somehow it is oh-so-compelling! Set in Victorian England.
