Always interesting, his recipes never seem to have enough flavor for me. I can't watch his show without getting a little annoyed. However I love hearing about the science behind cooking.
Nothing like a good sandwich at any time! Panera? Arbys? T.J.F? Named!!
While I don't consider myself a culinary genius by any means, Alton Brown has really gotten me to think about food and the science behind cooking it. His show, Good Eats, is easily one of the best food …
One childhood favorite I never outgrew. I know lots of adults who feel the same way. Quick, cheap, simple and delicious!
Basically two pieces of toast with melted cheese between them. Even better with chicken and tomatoes! How can something so simple be so good?
I just don't like them. They're full of high-calorie, low-nutrient food, and I am lactose intolerant, so there you go.

I like the fact that I learn something almost every time Alton Brown is on television.
I didn't know Alton Brown before I got married. In fact, I didn't watch the Food Network until marriage. It was during one of these rare viewing occasions that I realized my husband …
Alton Brown is on of the most effective food educators of our time. And his cookbooks are pretty darned good too.
Buttering the bread is a must. I like using Alvarado St bread with a combo of jalapeno jack and cheddar. MMMMMMM
Toast the outsides of the grilled cheese. It makes a better crunch for when you dip it in tomato soup!
Love, love love, grilled cheese sandwiches with ham and onions; lightly browned around the edges...
The use of multiple cheeses and good bread are the keys.
Marble coby = best for grilled cheese! Ever! I've tried all the cheddar and I must say, it is indeed the best cheese for the job. It melts well, and has a wonderful taste only it could bring!
Grilled cheese with tomato soup is incredible! Anythig tomato based (ketchup) to dip it in makes this sandwich the bomb digity!
Try adding veggies. A slice of fresh tomato, a slice of lettuce and a couple of pickles will really set off the standard grilled cheese and take it from toddler to adult in an instant!
Quick, easy and delicious.Don"t forget the tomato soup.

I like the versatility and creative posibilities of grilled cheese. My favorite, at present, is sourdough bread with gruyere cheese served with a roasted red pepper and tomato soup.
Our Nerd in the Kitchen.
Sourdough works well. I'm not fond of American or Velveeta.
Great snack, easy to make, and nutritious!
This is my go to for when I don't want to really cook anything. I mean honestly melted cheese? where can you go wrong!
