Rossetti's depiction of Lilith is classic and gorgeous in its own right, but unlike Collier's imagining, this Lilith seems less empowered and more vain. Still, it's a stunning painting.

Draper's depiction of Lamia seems somehow colder and more emotionally distant than the two versions done by Waterhouse, but I love the textures and colors here. A very moody and evocative piece.
