Uptown embodies the word hip and fun. Positioned just off of Lake Calhoun, Uptown is a mix of brand name shops like Victoria Secret, Urban Outfitters, Apple, Ragstock and American Apparel and smaller, edgy boutiques like Heartbreaker. It's also the place to go for happy hour, dinner or late night drinks. New restaurants with outdoor patios keep popping up. Favorites inlcude Stellas, The Cafeteria and IL Gatto. There are many older homes in this area and most are filled with renters.
