A beverage made by steeping tea leaves in water.
Black tea finds its perfect counterpart, the black currant. The berry enhances the black tea with its lovely fruit fragrance, giving the favorite black tea a refreshingly new allure. http://www.harney.com/Organic-Black-Currant-...case/productinfo/70023/ … see full wiki
Most brands of iced tea on the market basically are made from the dregs or leftover of tea leaves. Those brands, like Lipton and others, are not even really tea, at least that is what people who really know tea will tell you. Those brands are the scrapings off the factory floor that are not usable or desirable. Now, I do like some sweet Lipton’s ice tea.
But Harney and Sons gives you real tea and it is organic so it’s really hard to beat the quality of this bottled ice tea. It might be a little more expensive than other iced teas, but you can taste a significant difference in the product. But don’t expect a sweet, lemony, concoction that tastes somewhat like tea here. It’s not bitter, mind you, like unsweetened Lipton’s ice tea is (because of the quality of what they put in it), but it tastes like tea. So if you like tea, this is good iced tea.
I’ve tried a few of the brands from this company, including the green tea, and it’s all very good, and high quality.
