I'll let these jerks do the talking for me...
1
Richard Nixon
"Politics would be a helluva good business if it weren't for the goddamned people."
2
George W. Bush
"You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on."
3
Ronald Reagan
"Before I refuse to take your questions, I have an opening statement."
4
George H. W. Bush
"I have opinions of my own, strong opinions, but I don't always agree with them."
5
Bill J. Clinton
"I tried marijuana once. I did not inhale."

I could have sworn for Dubbya's it was going to be: "I thought an interesting comment was made when somebody said to me, I heard somebody say, where's Mandela? Well, Mandela is dead, because Saddam Hussein killed all the Mandelas." STUPIDEST THING I EVER HEARD

your pretty much spot on mate, except i would have to say GWB is number one on the retard scale. thumbs up

August 10, 2009
GWB is definitely #1, Nixon was nuts not stupid! Why is Bill on the list, the title is Worst Presidents, not husbands?
August 17, 2009
No Nixon wasn't stupid, at least not when compared to Bush, but he was a control freak with an inferiority complex that manifested itself in his giant ego and cowboy mentality.
August 20, 2009
I didn't say he was a good president! The list would be a lot longer if we went back far enough and Bill still wouldn't make it to the top.

August 09, 2009
Did you see my list of 20th Century presidents?
August 17, 2009
Not yet, I'll check it out though.

Four out of Five are Republicans. Coincidence? Great list. I have to disagree with Ukedude (we disagree on a lot, actually, but I like his reviews). Obama is a good guy who inherited a lot of bad stuff from the last administration (Republican, coincidence?). It's my San Francisco values I guess!
August 17, 2009
After studying chaos theory and quantum physics, I don't believe in coincidence (at least in most cases). Everything's connected, if not on an obvious and superficial level, then on a sub-atomic one.
September 02, 2010
Hardly a coincidence? "Worst" and "best" lists are usually subjective so I'm thinking that the author of this list has Democrat leanings! Not a criticism ... I'm just sayin'.
September 02, 2010
Yes, they are subjective. I liked my relatively neutral 20th century presidents list best. I got both good and bad in that one!
September 02, 2010
This is me being neutral. And no, I'm not a Democrat, though I believe in democracy. I avoid all political affiliations and partisanship.

I think perhaps Carter belongs in there as well. In a way, I hope I'm wrong, but I think in 4 years that Obama will also be in this list.
August 17, 2009
I doubt it, Obama has made some important progressive steps away from the uber-conservative policies of Bush, but even in his shortcomings, he's not yet done anything that intentionally violates citizens' rights (at least not that we know of). As for Carter, he could have gone on the list, but he's kind of a forgettable person. The guys on this list earned their spots by being perpetually annoying, loud-mouthed, egotistical, tyrannical, or just plain stupid. Obama only really fits two of those adjectives... and I'll let you figue out which two. ; )
August 25, 2009
Well, those weren't the adjectives I was hinting at, but they may fit some day... I was thinking annoying and loud-mouthed, though that might be a bit unfair since that's pretty much mandatory for all politicians.
September 14, 2009
I don't know.  Sometimes I'm a little miffed.  I must admit that I rather liked Clinton.  But I think all Politicians and whatnot are egotistical and annoying to a degree.  They're egotistical because well... we make them that way.  For some reason people in a position of power are often put on a pedestol of sorts.  You only need to look at celebrities or most political figures.  At the same time, however, they'd actually probably be less annoying if we didn't see them on the news everyday.  But I think it's important to consider that society is definitely pretty important in shaping that aspect.  It's easy to be egotistical when there are plenty of people to feed it.  As a result, there's a part inside all of us that really seems to want our politicians to be loud-mouthed.  Think of it this way, we want so badly for our politicians to speak up when needed, but whenever they do we want them to shut up immediately.  I always found that amusing.

But then again, I'm just not the type of person who really distrusts a lot of people... nor do I mind loud mouth or egotistical people.  I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not always big on personality so much as it is what they actually get done.  I guess that's part of why I like Obama.  He actually appears to be busy--doing something in other words.

I don't know.  I'm a bit fascinated and at the same time disturbed by politics.  I guess I just haven't had my spirit crushed to the point where I view all politicians as Tyranical.  Like, I could totally agree with Nixon and all (who wouldn't?) and there aren't too many who appear to like Dubya anyway... and hey, Clinton was ummm... Clinton, but I rather liked him.
September 26, 2009
No, not all of them are evil, capitalistic, oppressive tyrans. Just the majority of them. LOL! Oddly enough, I'm not sure why that's funny rather than heartbreaking.
September 26, 2009
I laugh to keep from crying
September 26, 2009
Well, hello there. Haven't heard from you much recently. What's up?
September 26, 2009
Been sick, been writing, been doing music and been spending time with granddaughter
September 26, 2009
Other than the being sick, that doesn't sound too bad. How's Eris in all the celebrity death madness?
September 26, 2009
Eris is Eris. One does not question her. It does no good.

I have a Dubyu figure that literally talks out of both sides of its mouth. It has two buttons--a red one and a blue one, that you can press according to your political preference. Then his head turns either to the right or the left as is appropriate and says something either moderately banal or monumentally stupid.
August 17, 2009
Yes, but does it talk out of its ass?
August 17, 2009
I haven't checked.
August 17, 2009
Then it has at least one dissimilarity with Bush. : )
August 17, 2009
I said I haven't checked. For all I know it might. But I have no intention of finding out.
