Out of the two versions of Kitchen Nightmares out there (the UK and US versions), Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (UK version) is the best by a pretty wide margin. The UK version focus much more on the food and other problems with the restaurant that Gordon is trying to help, while the US version seems to be edited so that it's like a TV drama.

Notable episodes from the UK series include the Curry Lounge, Fish and Anchor, Oscar's, the Priory, and the debut episode Bonaparte's.

I didn't realize that there were two versions! I'm pretty amused by the American version, so I think I'd quite like this.  Thanks, David!

Thanks for chiming in, Devora. The American series has some good episodes (like Sebastian's), but as a whole, the British series seems to be more focused on food and business practices.
