I'm not sure how many people actually know how creepy and disturbing the original Grimm fairytales are. I mean, when I was a kid no one ever told me that the Three Little Pigs ended up eating The Big Bad Wolf. As if that weren't disconcerting (awesome) enough, Grimm the series takes creepy to a whole new, modernized level. Set in modern day Portland, the atmosphere is dark, and all around perfect. At first glance the premise sounds a little silly, but it is surprisingly good and very addictive; and so far has been able to hold its own with any of the greatest procedural crime scene investigation shows. My only complaint is that NBC decided to put it in the same timeslot as Fringe. Also, don't confuse Grimm with Once Upon a Time, The latter isn't even close to being in the same league.
