This was one of the most disappointing comebacks of a cherished cartoon of my youth. All the "under-the-rug" adult humor that made the original Ren and Stimpy so brilliant has been replaced with painfully blatant gross-out gags and overdone profanity. Skip this, as it's a slap in the face to the original Ren and Stimpy.
If you want to see a great cartoon comeback, check out the re-launch of Beavis and Butthead. Mike Judge was smart enough to keep everything that made B&B funny in the new series, too bad John Kricfalusi didn't do this with R&S.

Hear, hear. Needlessly, I dreaded the new B&B series because this was so lackluster. Mike Judge's inspired stupidity is still vital.
