The Sopranos is a great show. It is about the Italian mafia in New Jersey and focuses on the stresses and life of the head of the mafia, Tony Soprano.

The show is filmed perfectly, all of the shots are interesting and done with a very artistic view. The writing in the show is fantastic and makes you want to keep watching. I love how during an episode a problem arises, and is dealt with in the same episode. This rarely keeps you wondering what happens in the next episode. Just watching this makes me feel great.

That's a great point: while this was an amazing series, such fantastic individual stories were encapsulated in single episodes. This show really set the tone for some remarkable dramas we've seen this decade.
