Being a boy, I remember seeing Care Bears stuff at school or at friends' houses if they had a sister. I liked them just fine, but was too busy blowing things up with GI JOE and Transformers to really pay much attention to them.

Uuuuugggghhhhhhh. I don't know how this sugary crap has lasted over 30 years. Hell, the few times I saw the Care Bears back when I was three or four years-old, I thought it was saccarine shit. A Quick Tip by Madpenguin

This is one cartoon from the 80's I don't need to revisit. I'll never forget my disgust for those saccharine looking bears. Stuff like this made Transformers and GI Joe look a lot better than it already was.
