At the end of "Villains", I think we all knew that Nathan had turned evil or shall we say...misguided. And if you watched the preview than you also know that he had plans in place to round up all those with abilities and lock them away. Kind of like a modern day Hitler don't you think? I just didn't think it was all going to happen in one episode. Nathan didn't waste anytime and I thought that was some great writing. It shows that the character had a plan and meant to follow through with it. Nathan has always been a character that is No BS, right to the point and he really proves it here. I was actually watching CNN today and and they had a piece on GITMO and after watching it the orange prison jumpsuits and the masks our heroes were wearing were very similar to those worn by the terrorists (or not, the whole situation is ridiculous)at GITMO.

I really enjoyed how Claire has grown up. She's lost the baby fat in her cheeks and has started to really come into her own as proven in this episode. I mean she could have taken Nathans offer and split, but no, she stayed and snuck onto that plane and along with Peter, brought it down. I just like that she doesn't whine anymore. It's also cool to see Peter getting all of his powers back. It was hard watching the show when he didn't because you hate to see him in that position after seeing him become this unstoppable force. He was meant to be hero.
Finally, Sylar. I mean seriously I said it at the beginning of the show. It was smart that Nathan wasn't sending anyone after him. He is unstoppable and he should have known that. What does Nathan get in return? A bunch of dead troops and rightfully so. Do not instigate Sylar, he will mess you up. I'm very curious to see were the Daddy hunting goes. The biggest surprise of this episode was seeing HRG working with Noah. I mean I could understand Angela, but not Noah. I'm sure we wil find out his reasons soon enough. I'm back in Heroes mode! 5/5.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall for some TV and movie pitches. Anyway, series 1 was reasonably good - some quirky characters, interesting situations and, while pushing the bounds of credibility, kept us all on our toes. "Save the cheerleader, save the world," is just about crazy enough that I'll buy whatever keeps coming. It was a long season, they kept piling on the characters, and it worked for the most part. Oh show why do you do this to me. I want to hate what you are doing to my lovely elder Petrelli, but dammit you insist on handing me flowers and candy and using the puppy eyes and I can't help but love you again. I started watching this show half way through the first season. A friend of mine had started watching it from it's premiere and suggested I watch it. I knew I couldn't start watching it from the middle of the season so I started searching online and found all the episodes I'd missed and started watching them. Heroes is an American science fiction television drama series created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006.
