Sweet, sour, hot, spicy, you name it, they have it. Not only is Thai food delicious, it is colorful and entertaining. I love taking guests and friends to Thai restaurants where a feast doesn't end just with the main meal but with a sumptuous Thai dessert buffet! Spectacular!
You've to love Indonesian cuisine for its fried fish, barbecued prawns (as big as a baby lobster) and all those coconut milk. Nasi Padang is a feast where you'll have plenty of choices as to what to eat first and Kolak is the dessert you'd like to end it with. I never get tired of Indonesian food since I practically grew up eating them. Next time you're in town, give me a buzz & we shall all have a feast!

Of all the European cuisines, the French has got the style and the flair. I love fine dining and French Cuisine is associated with fine dining. The chefs are more creative and experimented more than other cuisines, I believe. New varieties of appetizers, main courses, desserts are being served in restaurants and hotels. French cuisine is fun & stylish and I like that! :-)
Coming close to the French are the Belgian. I love the use of seafood, especially the Belgian Mussels in Belgian Cuisine. Wide selection of wines is another pluses. Belgian Cuisine is quite homely and has a cosy feel to it. That's probably one the major difference between the French & Belgian Cuisine. While we go for French during special occasions, Belgian Cuisine is finest for everyday dining. I love it!
I'm not into pasta or pizza, that's why Italian Cuisine doesn't rank as high as the French & Belgian. However, at times one can also find great selection in Italian Cuisine especially with regard to fine dining.
I love the side dishes of the Korean Cuisine. Having it the Korean way means one is fed with a variety of pickles and vegetables even before what you ordered are being served on the table. It's all for free too! And I love variety. So, that's the cheapest way of getting variety, Korean Style! ;-) Generally though, I like Korean BBQ more than the Ginseng chicken soups which is typical of Korean dishes. It's fun gathering with friends around the table having BBQ. Lots to do and eat!
I don't even recall specifically what I liked about Portuguese Cuisine but I had the finest company when I was eating them. Hehe... that makes the experience extraordinary. In fact, my most memorable when it comes to the food itself about Portuguese Cuisine is those of Portuguese restaurants outside Portugal, in Macau, Hong Kong & Shanghai. These 3 cities have the best Portuguese restaurants in the world. If you need the name, email me & I'll direct you to them!
I was surprised at how fresh and lovely the seafoods are in this country. I guess it's no surprising since the country has a long stretch of sea next to it! But boy, it's so darn cheap to eat seafood here too! Oysters, prawns, etc... Delish! Awesome! Can't wait to get back there again!
Kebab! Turkish Cuisine consists of mostly lamb and in Turkey, the smell can be quite distinctive. It takes time to adjust and a lot of people simply couldn't take it for an extended period of time.

Indian Cuisine is actually very interesting and a lot of people love it. For me though, I don't fancy the taste of its curry although I like curry a lot (like Vietnamese, Indonesian & even Japanese curry!). I found Indian curry a bit repulsive. The taste is just too strong. Otherwise, Indian Cuisine is actually not bad!
