Make Those Weeds Go Away With Ortho; Dial-N-Spray; Hose-End Sprayer

There are a lot of different types of fertilizer sprayers on the market today, so how do you know what supplies to choose or which one to buy. Ortho makes a sprayer that is easy to use to help you kill those weeds that are trying to take over your lawn. The easiest way that I know is to ask the attendant on the floor that stocks the shelves in your local home improvement store. Ever since we started seeding our yards and our garden several years ago, we have been using this particular easy Ortho Dial Sprayer and have never been disappointed with the outcome. You will still need something to get your plants going, sort of like a kick start, and Ortho also makes a lot of products for that. I found this in a bottle, which holds the concentrated liquid form of 32 ounces for only 12.99 at Lowe‘s. I have also seen this on sale at Sam's club. This product is made in the USA in Marysville Ohio.

Description
I have seen this magical container come in a 32 ounce size bottles. Each bottle weighs approximately 7.9 ounces. The product that goes inside is usually in a concentrated liquid form and is a blue in color. There is enough of this product in one 32 ounce bottle to make to cover a small yard. You should be able to cover approximately 20 square feet for every 2 gallons of this concentrate. The best benefit of using this liquid in this way, is the fact of this being concentrated.

Warning
If you were to get this in your eyes or on your skin, you will need to rinse thoroughly. If you were to get this in your eyes or on your skin it could cause slight irritation. If you happen to swallow any of this do not induce vomiting call the poison control center. This product could cause nausea, and mild vomiting along with mild irritation to the throat, mouth, esophagus and stomach. If you happen to also inhale a substantial amount you will also need to contact poison control center. If this were to be inhaled you could possibly get an upper respiratory tract irritation. The usual route of entry into the body is by swallowing, through the skin, through the nose and eyes. This is also a non-combustible liquid.

If you have to store this for a long period, you should clean it out and then do store it in a cool place and also make sure that you rinse any garden tools that you may have used to help spray this on. If you happen to grab any tool with the residue from this sprayer on them you could possibly inadvertently get it in places that will irritate you at a later date.

What should this do for you?
This should do a lot of things for you when you start to see weeds or need to fertilize your yard this will help out tremendously. If you are transplanting new flowers or vegetables into a different container or in a garden, you should be careful not to over spray them. This should help your grass grow twice as big when you are using just regular water alone. Depending on what type of spray that you put into this container will depend on what you can control. This also will help your grass whether it is young or old to transform into beautiful and blooming and fruitful green looking yard. You should also get more brilliant and more green looking yards. This can be used to kill weeds, insects, for fertilizers, and disease control sprays. As long as you use this as directed there should be no ill effects such as burnout or any harmful results by using this on any freshly seeded yards. This should also help you in the feeding department, you will not have to feed your grass for a length of 7 to 14 days at regular intervals. There is very little mixing and measuring, all you have to do is mix two ounces, to 2 gallons of water, this does not have to be cold water, it can be warm if you prefer. I have used this either way. Make sure that you soak all of the surrounding soil so that the plant will get a good dosing of the solution that is in the container.

Experience
The first thing that you have to do is make sure that you set the dial (depending on how much that you want to come out with the water will depend on where you will need to set the dial) to the right amount so that it does not empty out within a few minutes of starting. Then you fill the container with the mixture that you have chosen. The next thing that you will have to do is connect this to your garden hose, while you have the hose stretched out to the furthest point. Make sure that you rotate the spray nozzle to point downward and in a 20' to 25' spray area. Then turn the water on and squeeze the trigger and start spraying while walking backwards. You will need to spray in a fanning motion while you are walking backwards.

There is only a few things that you should know when using this Ortho Dial and Spray. As I soon found out, no matter what size yard that you have for your needs, you will need to pick a fertilizer or weed killer that will effectively diminish any weeds that you may have. Once you have chosen the right product that will work for you, fill the container with two ounces of you product with water and spray on your yard or your garden. This will help in stimulating the roots of your grass and plants and get them going in the right direction. This is kind of like waking your plants and grass up and telling it that, it is time to grow. I have found that the best time to apply this liquid to your yards is about every 7 to ten days, or every other week to be safe. Every year we do this the same way and our yard looks greener than all of our neighbors yards.

There are a few things that you should also consider if you want to make this successful. These are, you will have to make sure that you have the proper watering, and before watering each time make sure that the soil is dry to the touch before adding more of this liquid to your grass. In addition to all of this, don't forget that sooner or later you may have to feed your yard again and Ortho does have the proper food or weed and feed for all yards. The most important thing to remember is that you will need to make sure that your soil is in good condition every year for the most excellent results.

Conclusion
If you are having trouble with your yard staying alive all summer long, I have found this to be the miracle cure for all of my problems. The only time that we really have to worry is when we go in vacation. But, for the most part, this stuff will take care of all of your yards. If you can’t use all of the contents, then don’t let the rest go to waste, you can simply give it to a friend for their yard. The container when empty is reusable, and if you do have some of this product left you can just pour it in a place out of the way. At least this is what I have done with any that I have left over. The product that you purchase should have an amount on the outside of the container on how much you should mix with water. Hopefully, you will have a green yard this summer.
