I have only seen this type of bite size cat food on sale at a lot of places, and one of them is the any grocery store or a pet supply store. My own Vet has a problem with this and recommends that we try the more expensive food, but this food is not as expensive as the stuff that they wanted me to purchase. This is the only one that I know of that has proven itself over the years to help your kittens immune system. This will really help those really young kittens when they are starting out in life. This is also the only food that I know of that has the same nutrients as the mother's milk. This will help in support and build bone and joint cartilage. This is the brand that I have started all of my kittens out on.

No matter what way that you look at it, kitten food is not cheap unless you want to give them plain old bland generic kitten food. But, if you want something healthy for your pets then this is a definite plus. Each of these brands from Purina it will help in some way or another especially, the kitten chow. These bags will set you back at least five dollars for a 3.5 pound bag and some of them cost a lot more. These all come in different size bags, but I usually purchase a small bag, so that it will be fresh for them at every day at dinner time. If you give your pets a better brand of food you will notice a difference in the way that they get around and the way that they look. This kitten chow is made in the USA in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ingredients
The ingredients are very important to know because some kittens have allergies. What is in this food is: chicken by product meal, brewers rice, corn gluten meal, soy flour, animal fat preserved with mixed tocopherols{a form of vitamin E}, wheat flour, fish meal, animal liver flavor, dried yeast, turkey by product meal, calcium carbonate, phosphoric acid, salt, choline chloride, taurine, potassium chloride, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, added color red 40, DL-Methionine, vitamin E & A & B12 & D3 supplement and vitamin C, iodized salt, niacin, thiamine mononitrate, calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, riboflavin supplement, biotin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, calcium iodate, biotin, menadione sodium bisulfate complex a source of vitamin K, minerals (ferrous sulfate, sodium selenite).

Description
Each of these pieces of food are a light brown in color and is 3/16" x ¼" in diameter. These are very easy for a young or older cat to pick up and easy to chew. These are in the shape of a cross and a heart, this also has chicken and turkey flavors mixed inside of it. You will have to stick your nose all the way into the bag to smell any kind of an odor. This kitten chow is very high in protein and will help support the kittens brain for better development.

Benefits
The benefits of this food will outweigh the cost by a long shot. This food will help your kitten keep its insides healthy as well as all of the vital organs. This also will help keep good muscle tone and make sure that your kitten does not get overweight, and this is very easy on their digestive system. This food is ideal for kittens under one year of age. This is also precisely balanced with all of it nutrients.

Experience
You should know that all kittens need the proper diet to maintain the proper weight and keep a shiny coat and grow properly. In order to do that, you will need to know how much that you should feed an adult kitten, and it is not as much as it is the size of the kitten as it is the age of the kitten. From 3 to 6 weeks you should feed them ¼ - 1/3 of a cup of food a day, 7 weeks to 6 months old will need 1/3 to 3/4 cups per day, and 7 months to 1 year old need ½  to ¾ cups of food daily. We usually feed our kitten the same type of food so that we do not upset her stomach.

Kittens love this type of food and always eat every bite. The only time that we change this food is if our kitten reaches a different age limit (more than a year old), such as a young kitten to an adult cat to an elderly cat. This is when their body will change and their nutritional needs might change. By doing this and following this proper diet, we have kept our kitten and/or cat healthy and having a shiny coat. We also noticed that they are real frisky and like to play a lot because they are healthy. When our cats are feeling good so are we.

Guarantee
Not all brands give a warrantee, and this one is no different. If you are not completely satisfied though and don't see a healthy improvement, you can return this product to the place that you purchased it from and get all your money back. But I have yet to have to do that.

Conclusion
I highly recommend using this brand of kitten chow from Purina, you and your kitten will be as  happy as we are, with the results that you both are getting from this food. Just remember that after one year old, to switch to Purina Cat Chow, for different types of nutrients.
Purina Kitten Chow (Purina) gives your kitten the nutrients that they need.
