The first book in the "Twilight Saga" by Stephenie Meyer.
< read all 205 reviews Twilight is a book that I did not read at first. When everyone was becoming a Twihard and reading away at these books, I held off not thinking they were for me. Wow was I wrong! From the second I picked this book up I did not want to put it down. I went and purchased the other three in the series right away.
This book starts out with Bella moving to live with her father in a new town. He is the sheriff in this small town. At her school she starts to make friends, but then she sees the Cullens. This family is different and she is in awe of Edward. They start getting to know each other and it does not take her long to figure out that he is a vampire. The story goes on to explain their way of life, which is not eating people but only animals. While reading this book, I would get so caught up in the story that I would lose time. Hours later I would realize I had been reading for some time.
This book is also a movie if you have not seen it. It is good, but the books are better by far in my opinoin. There are also three more books in this series. You will want to pick up New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn to read also. The story ends up great, but you have to read it all to understand. This series is one of the few that I will probably read a 2nd time at some point.
