Twitter recently made known a new feature which enables users to email a Tweet directly from Twitter. According to Twitter's blog post, this feature will be "rolling out to everyone over the coming weeks". sers may email Tweets to anyone from their Twitter stream as long as the recipients possess a valid email address, regardless if they're on Twitter or not. I have yet to figure this out, and I have been on the site for over 2 yrs. I found it just as easy to use the main site during chats and twitter parties.

The best way to enjoy this 140-characters-or-less social networking site (although I'd argue that Twitter has evolved into much more than just a website; mobile phenomenon, LIFESTYLE, etc.) is to "feed" it from other sites from time to time. Easy connectivity to web giants such as Facebook, YouTube, Last.fm & even Lunch.com makes for quite the effortlessly enjoyable tweeting experience.

Twitter has been very helpful for me to connect with students and to send quick updates and announcements. It is surprising how much can be shared in 140 characters (or less).

I wanted this book to convert me to a twitterati, and it didn't. By the time I got around to writing the review, a new edition is available, and maybe that one would be more persuasive. Suspect that if you tweet, you don't need the book, and if you don't get Twitter, a book's not going to help much.
