I have yet to figure this out, and I have been on the site for over 2 yrs. I found it just as easy to use the main site during chats and twitter parties.

Twitter has been very helpful for me to connect with students and to send quick updates and announcements. It is surprising how much can be shared in 140 characters (or less).
