Until Google Wave really takes off, I'm going to be sticking with good ole twitter. Brizzly is a third-party Twitter interface, currently in a closed beta. It was unveiled at one of TechCrunch's events in 2009.
It allows you to create groups to organize followers, and has numerous other features, including in-line links from TwitPic & bit.ly amongst others. It has been compared as FriendFeed for Twitter.
