I was recently Tweeting away when I came across Drew Carey on Twitter. Naturally as a fan of Drew Carey, mainly for the fact that we both share a common passion for Soccer, I decided to follow him. After about a week of following Drew Carey I noticed that he had been Tweeting about something to do with Cancer. Interested, I looked into it and found that Drew Carey had started a campaign to get as many Tweeters to Follow him as possible, and if he were to get a million followers he would give one million dollars to the Liverstrong Foundation http://www.livestrong.org/ .

After reading up more on the topic, and seeing an interview on CNN, I came to find out that a Blogger/Tweeter/Internet Lover by the name of Drew Olanoff, http://www.drewolanoff.com/ , who had recently been diagnosed with Cancer started a Blog called Blame Drew's Cancer, http://blamedrewscancer.com/ , which was meant for people to blame anything on Drew's Cancer with the idea that we have to "Beat Up" Cancer to win.
Later on, Drew Olanoff's came up with another great idea to fight Cancer when he decided that he was going to make an auction for his Twitter account name, @Drew , for whoever would want to bid on it. http://twitter.com/Drew As an early user of Twitter, Drew Olanoff was able to acquire the Twitter handle @Drew and felt that someone famous named Drew would want to help out the cause. He was right and Drew Carey http://twitter.com/DrewFromTV decided to jump aboard.
There has been a great amount of support for this cause and I feel it is a great idea for anyone to help the fight against Cancer. It is very simple for you and the people you know to help put money towards the flight against Cancer. All you have to do is start following Drew Carey on Twitter, @DrewFromTV , and you will have given a dollar towards the fight against Cancer! We need to spread the word about this great opportunity and help flight Cancer!
