My preferred gadget when I am on the go covering conferences, I run both Windows and Mac OSX with it.

The BlackBerry Bold has the best keyboard, it is the perfect mobile device to live blog on the go, with text and pictures :)

The iPhone is the best smartphone for web browsing and entertainment (video watching, apps), it sucks at emailing (input) due to its virtual keyboard.

Sprint Overdrive is useful during conferences when WiFi is not available, vital for live blogging.

The Kodak Zi8 is the equivalent of the Flip camcorder: very easy to use, uploads to Youtube in 2 clicks and has a built-in USB connector. But the Zi8 has an audio out jack allowing external microphone usage, useful for interviews if you want good ausio. The macro feature makes close up shooting of gadgets possible, the Flip does not have it.

The best mouse if you travel. It works on any surface, glass included! The design is super sleek and the device is comfortable to hold.

The best "bang for the buck" prosumer DSLR in the Canon lineup. More recent products have been launched since I bought this one (January 2010), you may want to check them as well.
