This is a great spot for drinks with friends if you are downtown Chicago. Less grand than the W Lakeshore, but a good place to people watch.

This is a nice hotel, if you are going for Sheraton points and absolutely have to be in the center of the city. But the W on Lakeshore Drive is much cooler. The rooms there are smaller, but better appointed; and that location is better for touring the city. I like the Allegra much better than the W in this area.

My very 1st W Hotel! It's a little dark in the reception but the mood is obvious. Hip!
