Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas is one of the hotels you will never forget. This has several reasons: one is that the staff is over-attentive. I think that they can anticipate your every wish! So as we arrived and checked in, they called us by our name before we had said anything. It was amazing! Then we were taken to our room. As it didn’t have a view of the strip (that’s what we ordered), I wanted to open my mouth to mention this mistake. Guess what, before I could say anything, the boy started to apologize about four times that they assigned the wrong room to us and that he was so sorry. He led us to another room (this time it was the right category), opened the door with his general key and brought in our luggage. After some minutes, he returned with two key cards to our room apologizing again for the mistake and dishing up a basket with fresh fruits and a big bottle of water. Remember, both of us haven’t even said one word of complaint. Wow, that’s a brilliant service!

Another reason is that the room was huge, I guess five persons could have stayed in there without meeting each other during the stay. I think it was something like 90 square metres or so. It was a bright room with a fantastic view of the Las Vegas strip. The living room was carpeted in very pleasing colours, the bathroom was beautifully tiled with marble. Ok, this is getting too detailed. J

We had a great dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants called SW Steakhouse. It’s been a long time I had such a fantastic steak. Sorry, darling. Also, breakfast the next day was outstanding. They had a big choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt, dishes with eggs, sausages, Brussels waffles, crêpes, and so on.

Of course, we went to the legendary casino and spent a lot of money there. Unfortunately, we didn’t win anything which was a bit frustrating. But however, it was fun and we got to know some very nice people from Great Britain who joined us for dinner the second evening.

All in all, it’s always worth comparing room rates, not only for Wynn, but for all other hotels in Las Vegas. You can get some really attractive deals or room rates if you check the internet, but also the hotels directly.
