I've been hearing that the Doritos 2nd Degree and 3rd Degree Burns are hard to find because they're being discontinued, and the Dorito's Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch have been following them, because they aren't easy to find either. As much as I hoped this was more of a fairy tale, it seems more truthful as I check through all of the local and major stores. That's unfortunate, because this line of tortilla chips happens to be the best I come across so far.
Doritos Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch are the best to me, after giving them one last shot to determine which was my favorite. Although not as spicy as the 3rd Degree Burns, and they're edged out by the 2nd Degree Burns in spice also. They have something that the other two don't have and that's a well balance. These chips are right down the middle; the spice appears to have the right amount, where I can enjoy them without constantly taking sips of something. The buffalo and ranch flavor is an excellent mix, plus it has a much better aroma than the other two bags. In fact, I'll go so far to say that they smell better than every brand of Doritos I've tried up to this point, and I been through a few. They also taste incredible with some blue cheese, and I loved them with a nice cold glass of orange juice.
I can care less about eating healthy as long as I enjoy what I'm eating. If you're watching your weight, then these absolutely aren't for you. But if you're a serious junk food eater, then here's something else for you to try out.
Pros: -Tasty Buffalo and Ranch, right amount of spice
Cons: -Besides price, none for me

Yes they are, and I think it's finally been decided. Whoever doesn't try these are missing something.
It's funny - I just tried these a couple hours before I read this review and they're delicious!! Spicy but not too much; just right!! (I'm not sure about the orange juice though! LOL)

Telling you, these are so awesome. I'm so angry that they are no longer in my area. And try it with the OJ.
We were on our way to Hershey Park, PA yesterday and got a bag at 7-11 and loved them; they are no longer for sale where you live? That's odd!! and I'll try them with the OJ - I an't take too much spice anymore, but these are perfectly spiced!!
More orange juice? ;-) I tried the 2nd Degree Burn as you suggested, with orange juice! it's not bad at all but I still prefer them with my Diet Coke (or Coke Light in this part of the world). Yeah, who cares about eating healthy if they taste like mud, LOL!

I just can't get enough of orange juice with any of them. It just brings out this taste that makes me jump through the roof. And believe me, I don't care about eating healthy. If I'm going out, then let it be with a full stomach, and a mouth full of junk.
