While I think Aeropostale and its competition like Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister are all the same, I feel like targeting Aero right now just because I think their name is horribly pretentious (Aeropostale is an American company yet they gave themselves a French name).
Honestly, even when I was in my pre-teen years, I never understood why people willfully shell out money to wear overpriced shirts and jackets that have the names of clothing companies on them. If you're gonna wear clothing that advertises something, wear a shirt advertising like a band or cartoon you really like, not a giant corporation.
I think wearing Aeropostale or Hollister t-shirts is as hokey as wearing a shirt with the Pepsi or Coca-Cola logo on it. Even with big business entities that I like (such as Chili's Bar & Grill), I'm not going to wear clothing that advertises for them.
