Last Saturday's weird decision is proof promoters have lost all faith in this bout taking place. I don't think it's ever going to happen now, and if it does, so much time would have passed and the men will be so close to being forced into retirement, it more than likely won't even matter anymore.

This farce turns me off to boxing, a sport that used to be one of my favorites. If people protest by not buying pay per view, then the promotors that fix the results will get the message. If I want to watch a "fixed" event, I prefer wrestling because at least there is some entertainment value.
