I don't eat candy bars all that often, but when I find myself craving one, I need my candy immediately! Well, today was one of those days. The craving hit and I had to stop at a gas station on the way home. I browsed the shelves. Hmmm, which candy bar should I get? 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, Snickers... Oh, Snickers Dark?? I generally prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate and I'd never had one, so I was sold. Delicious! Exactly like a regular Snickers bar, but covered in dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Sweet, salty, chocolaty. Really hit the spot. It'll probably be a long time before I have another, but I have to give the Snickers Dark props for bailing me out of my frantic candy craving. Although, I do have to note that I'd have given a slightly higher rating if I agreed with their corporate identity more. I'll put it this way: If someone enjoys your product enough to dedicate a website, application, etc. to it, this should be a good thing! The most positive marketing possible! A corporation's reaction should be to thank and embrace, not to shut down such an entity. Shutting down snckrz.com = big mistake, IMO. Come on folks, get with the times!
Along with Butterfingers and Milky Ways, the Snickers bar is another one of my favorite candy bars. The combination of peanuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate make this really tasty and pretty filling. Snickers is another reason why among the candy giants, Mars is my favorite.
I think we've all been in a stressed out, hurried state when all we can do is grab something from a vending machine and work through the lunch hour. I must say, I try to eat healthfully but sometimes when that sweet tooth calls and work is choatic there's nothing like a Snickers. The peanuts which provide a bit of protein seems to stick with me more than chips or the other junk food at hand.
