I don't exactly remember when I first began or how long I've been using Clorox Clean-Up with Bleach, but one thing is for sure, it's in constant rotation in my home. The bottle is listed to: Remove Bathroom Stains, Removes Stains & Disinfects, and Degreaser.

In regards to removing stains, I won't say it's perfect but it's very good though. I have used it to clean the soap scum and mildew from the bathroom tiles and grout with nice results. For cleaning the grout, bathtub, and sink, I would always use a soft sponge. Especially in regards to the grout, because it will begin to wear out over time and I feel a soft sponge prolongs its life.

I used it for cleaning and disinfecting both the bathroom and kitchen sinks. In regards to the bathroom sink, it did help remove rust stains that my can of shaving creme left behind. In the case of the kitchen, it's real handy when removing grease stains from the stove and sink, as well as keeping the roaches at bay by spraying and wiping down the sink. For those who do not know, the strong smell of bleach does not sit well with roaches. This is something that I learned after years of cleaning my home when keeping the vermin out.

It has done a good job cleaning and removing bad smells from my waste basket. When using it to clean plastic bowls though, I noticed that it wouldn't remove the sauce stains once they really settled, despite scrubbing them down with a green scratch pad. But it did remove the stains when the sauce was fresh. Although the bottle does not state to use it in this way, nor does it warn not to; I used it anyway on plastic bowls, because the bowls had tough stains that Dawn (for example) was not getting out. After using it in this way, I always use a dishwashing soap with hot water afterwards. The product also has pictured diagrams to give detailed examples of what it cleans.

This product is among my favorites but it does have its shortcomings. For one, it shows almost no mercy to clothes, the bleach will fade out the colors. When I begin my cleaning, I usually toss on a shirt and sweatpants that have already been damaged by it.

The second would have to be the heavy bleach smell. The smell can be very strong and it has irritated my eyes to include cause me to sneeze. Therefore, I'm pretty careful with it. But I did take a chance and used it on flies once they became very annoying with spectacular results. I mean hell, if this stuff can do a number on a human being, then it better send vermin on a one way trip. The bottle of course comes with some very helpful directions for use as well as precautions.

Overall, Clorox Clean-Up is a very solid product, and I recommend it to those who enjoy keeping their homes clean.

Pros:
-Removes some stains, helps keep bugs away

Cons:
-Bleach smell can be very strong, will damage clothes
