Please consider that this is a fictionalized account of how Lunch.com came to be.
Once upon a time, there was an empty space in the information super-highway…
Two exciting creative women met in the world of flashing lights..
One was called Healthy Rache.
Another was called LingEatsCake.
Healthy Rache insists that this empty spot in the cyberspace be made into her own image that it be made "Healthy" and full of energy and life.
LingEatsCake insists that it be filled by all the sweetness of life--love and all the good stuff.
There raged a war between the two Queens that lasted many years.
One day, LingEatsCake and HealthyRache had a meeting and thought of reaching a compromise. A being called DesignDude came along to aid the two lovely ladies.
Many hours pass and the trio became hungry and were found by ARichards…since it was lunch time, all they thought of was having lunch. Now the foursome couldn't decide on what to have for lunch…HealthyRache wanted a salad, Ling wants cake and DD wanted a burger.
Then, along came JRJ who says why not everything and listen to everyone's opinion.
Thus, Lunch was born.
Once it was built, many people came…sharing, sharing, making friends and having fun.
Lunch was ever improving--ever growing--more and more people came and Lunch improved more and more…always accommodating to other folks, always grabbing videos off the alternate universe of youtube. MySpace is in peril now that Twitter has become a friendly neighboring universe…
With Count Orlok always giving suggestions which made DesignDude work harder…
with trashcanman always overloading the space in the internet.
However, Horror Masters Mike-B and Dave79 threatens to overrun the Lunch universe.
With Scotman appearing out of nowhere to wreak more Havoc…
Along came the mighty Woopak--who is now making a fool out of himself and QueenBFlix whom we still don't know how she looks like…
Methinks woopak is just high on TheraFlu.
Congrats to the Lunch team--staff, ambassadors…ALL!!
Sorry, I'd like to mention everyone else but the comedy is ruining my mysterious image.
Lunch-thank you for FEEDING OUR CURIOUSITY and inspiring friendship.
Some of the Coolest folks I've had the privilege to know but haven't even met in person yet!!

I accidentally ran upon this one - hugely entertaining you are!! And by the way, being buzzed up on flu meds isn't a bad thing; makes one more uninhibited which is a good thing!! Loved this one!!!

Nice Woop!! Thanks for the write up... awesome! What an ensemble cast. I love the shout out for @arichards as the first of the group to test the waters. If there is another volume of this tale to be written i'm very curious to see if @angeloignacio plays a role, as he is the one who found @arichards. Just curious as a fan of this saga... not looking to steer the plot by any means.

Great question, Karen. I'll ask Trashie or Mackshere if they do have his e-mail. He commented in one of my theatrical release reviews in amazon sometime ago, but I can't remember which one. I'll see if I can find his e-mail address. You're his dearest online friend, I'm pretty sure he'll pop in one of your amazon threads.

Yeah he's dropped by mine once or twice two, but never when I've been on so I haven't been able to catch him, and he doesn't check comments on his old reviews anymore. He was my first amazon friend, he's such a sweetie.

Well, they got me. I can't remember exactly when I came to Lunch.com. It was in late December, and when I first got here, I must admit, I was not nearly as impressed. Well, I'm not going to lie to you. Other than logging out for 15 minute coffee breaks at work or signing off for the end of the day, lunch is what I look forward to. Considering the work I do, lunch can never be heavy nor can I indulge myself in something too sweet. I was invited and joined Lunch.com a few days ago.If you are into social networks this is a new twist to the original thing. But that is my first "but": I am on a few social networks and somehow never really got friends with them - facebook, twitter, perhaps I just do not know enough people at the beginning or perhaps as a German I am somehow on the wrong continent, or perhaps I am not - any longer! :-) or :-( - spending so much time in front of a computer, but somehow I feel quickly bored or somehow … more
