I already wrote a Quick Tip for this game, but after 5 hours, let me change my score a bit. After all, there are some thing that just need to be said, in both good and bad. Probably more bad than good, though. The good first.      In a way, DOAD makes for a good entry point for the series. Beginners will appreciate how the Chronicles mode serves as a sort of training, with explanations for basic techniques and even some advanced tactics. The counter system has been made simpler …

Typical DOA, in most ways. Story has the usual "quality" of the series, which we should be used to nowadays. It controls pretty well, and there seems to be a bunch of unlockable extras, which is really cool.      Still. On the graphics side, whoever says there is no difference between 30fps and 60fps, should try playing this game and switching between 2D and 3D. The decreased smoothness is really noticeable.
