When the original Portal was released in The Orange Box it was quite a surprise that of all the games in it... Portal was the one that stuck out the most.  No one, not even Valve, thought Portal would eventually be what people would pick The Orange Box for, let alone that it would sell well over four million copies worldwide (and that's not even including how many millions of copies it has sold on Steam).  At the time, the idea of a sequel just didn't seem like it would happen.  …

I just beat Portal 2 and this is one of the best videogame sequels I've ever played, along with Dead Space 2, Streets of Rage 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.       The fine developers at Valve improved upon the first game my making more complex puzzles and a longer single-player mode.  Along with these improvements, they also added a new character, which is a computerized personality core named Wheatley, whose loyalty to you is ambiguous.  …
