My mom doesn't like the wimpy love stories but she prefers to see action and romance mixed together. James Cameron's creation would fit the bill.

My Mom would just be thrilled to see a horror movie of this caliber. She also understands Spanish so the subtitles wouldn't bother her.

My mom was strictly horror, and a musical or two. She just wasn't happy unless she saw a knife cuttin' through flesh. And that's where i got it from.

Awesome write-up about your mom - very touching that you can remember her in that way and that she influenced you enough to make this list. She sounds as if she was really awesome and she was lucky to have a son like you to remember her in such a way on Mother's Day. Bless your heart.....

Yeah man absolutely loved your list WP, there are some on this list that I actually got to see with my mom, others I know she liked, and others she never got to see. Excellent list my friend, and I am proud to say that. Happy Mother's Day to all out there but especially to those who like you and I know have lost their mom.

Wow, this one really evokes the spirit of traditional Mother's Day. I'm touched by this man. I'm really saddened though that your mom is not still with us today. She sounds like a really cool chick much like my moms & some of closest friends' moms if you could imagine that. Ironically, I played Cannibal Holocaust for my mother (though not on Mother's Day) and she actually liked it. Can you believe this is the same parent that walked me out of Mortuary at the local mall when I eight? Well, guess I was kinda young then so I can't fault her for that. Otherwise, I think she enjoyed the film. Great list & very heartfelt commentary. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

A sweet idea. I can feel from reading your list the love that you have for your mother and how you keep her in your heart even though she is no longer physically with you.

She sounds like a darned cool Mom.

Awwwwwwwwwww :) Too bad my mom isn't much of a movie person. She fell asleep during..... The Dark Knight. Which is FULL OF POWER. Nice list though. What a cool mommy!
