Top Gassy Foods (Deep Breath!)

When your body has wind to get rid of, the body will do so using two ways, flatulence (farting) or belching (burping).

Passing wind is all to do with having bacteria in the lower bowel, and the way it interacts with certain foods. The intestine cannot digest and breakdown some carbohydrates, and instead pass straight through to the bowel. Bacteria then destroys the carbohydrates that the intestines had trouble breaking down, and this is done by releasing gas–which causes you to fart (yay!).

The gassiest kinds of foods are as follows: vegetables with cellulose and raffinose, raw foods, beans and legumes, dairy products, wheat, processed foods, carbonated drinks, fried foods, starches, and fruits. So, basically, you can't avoid the gas (it's the hard knock life).
